Hellooooo everybody,
If you’re looking for something fun to do Saturday morning (September 8th) join me in composting at the Charlottesville City Market. We’ll start our shift at 8am, help out for a casual two hours, then receive both a $5 token to the market from Black Bear Composting AND $7 of reimbursable free food from ODC for helping out with service!!
This means you would not only be engaging with your local community and helping with waste diversion but also be receiving TWELVE DOLLARS for your Saturday morning shopping!! Return time will depend on how much y’all want to shop but we’ll definitely be back by 11am!
You bring:
-water
-sunscreen
-a snack
-maybe a hat
-extra cash money for produce/breakfast
-whatever else idc
This trip will be limited to three people because that’s how many slots there are for each shift!
