Finally Fair weather Friday near Franklin Climbing

Howdy y’all,

Well, it finally looks like there’s a good weather window out in West Virginia this Friday at the crags. The high will be 58 and it’ll only be starting from a low near 46, sounds pretty ideal if you ask me. It’s been a while since I’ve climbed on some natural rock outdoors, so I’ll probably stay in a pretty chill range, maybe a 5.9 if I’m feeling extra spicy, but generally 7 or 8. I would like to have one or two people who can lead climb/belay, and clean, but those who can only top rope are also welcome. I’ll manage the group to ensure we have enough experienced folks.

YOU BRING:
ya climbing stuff (helmet, harness, shoes, chalk)
food and snacks
at least 2 liters (maybe something warm?)
appropriate clothing to be outside all day! (check the forecast, it will be cool)
