Lets go to Wintergreen!

What better way to celebrate the end of a semester then by shredding on some beautiful Virginia pow pow (It will most likely be classic east-coast ice). I have recently watched “touching the void,” thank you Netflix, for the third time this semester and I can’t wait any longer. I am done with finals on Saturday the 13th and if you feel like escaping from the depths of Clemons then come up with me on Sunday! I plan to leave from Echols at around 10 which should put us at an ETA of 11 or so. I have a season pass and gear so I plan to hit the slopes immediately, however, you can easily purchase a pass and or gear from the resort. We are going to play it by ear, but I plan to get around 5+ hours of skiing in before heading back. You will probably get hungry at some point so I suggest packing some snacks, or if you want you can pay exorbitant amounts for mediocre food at one of the lodges. I will be taking my truck up which can seat 5 people, but it may be a little tight with all of the snow clothes; there is plenty of room for skis and such in the bed. This means that I will have to put a cap of 5 people on the trip until another driver signs up. Outdoors club will pay for gas, so you guys only need to worry about your gear and pass.
