echols!
wherever the forest leads us
Leander McCormick Observatory, McCormick Road, Charlottesville, Virginie, États-Unis
What’s down guys? Maybe…the forest floor under your bare feet??
That’s right, come join me & Lucy this coming Monday and experience the paradigm-shifting magic of shinrin yoku (forest bathing) at sunset. I’ve been meaning to try this for a while, but now that the snow has mostly melted, it’s time at last to give it a go. In Japanese, “shinrin” means forest and “yoku” means bath, or immersing oneself in the forest and soaking in the atmosphere. We intend to do just that by walking barefoot through the forest, pausing often, and engaging with nature as the sun sets on the beautiful ohill trails. Will you set the tone for your upcoming week, feel connected with mother earth, or maybe even reach a different plane of existence? Only you can find out…
