FRI INT MTB – Cause you can’t not with this weather

OVERVIEW

The weather has puzzled me this semester. We come in to a drought and got multiple more additional weeks of hot dry sun. Then it rains and does not stop raining. Like seasonal depression territory there for a moment. And now I don’t think it’s rained an inch since then. Really, I think the only rational response is to bike/hike/run/swim/frolic while we have it. So come join Teets and I for little midday Ohill ride this Friday.

This will be an intermediate level trip. If you don’t have your own mountain bike or helmet, let me know on the trip questionnaire and we’ll try to secure you a club bike/helmet. Everyone will be waitlisted for this trip initially and depending on bike availability individuals will be taken off the waitlist accordingly.

What you need:
– Water (Either a bottle that will fit in a bottle cage, or bring a small backpack/hip pack to hold it or ODC can provide a pack)
– Gloves (optional but recommended, $10 utility gloves work great)
– Closed-toe shoes
– Weather appropriate clothing

What the club will provide:
– Bikes
– Helmets

The plan:
– 1pm meet at the shrack and get bikes ready
– 1:15 bike to ohill
– 2:30 back at shrack
