FRI-YAY MTB ON OHILL (beginner)

OVERVIEW

AHHHH YES. There is no better way to end the first most awesome week of classes than by riding bikes up on the mountain and hangin out and stuff. We’re going to meander our way up and down as we please based on everyone’s skill level and comfortability until we’re tired or need to go home to get ready for the SUPER EPIC AND AWESOME ODC party that night!!!!!

You need absolutely no mountain biking experience to join this trip – you just have to know how to bike on flat ground and we’ll teach you the rest. I had never mountain biked until a year ago when I timidly signed up for one of these trips, and I implore you to do the same !!

If you don’t have your own mountain bike or helmet, let us know on the trip questionnaire and we’ll try to secure you a club bike/helmet. Everyone will be waitlisted for this trip initially and depending on bike availability people will be taken off the waitlist accordingly.

Schedule:
5:00pm – meet at shred shack bike shed
5:15pm – leave on our biking adventure
6:15pm – finish our shredding and start to ride on back home
6:30pm – back at shred shack

What you bring:
– water (either a bottle that will fit in a bottle cage, not a nalgene, or bring a small backpack/hip pack to hold it)
– gloves (optional, cheap work gloves are great)
– closed-toe shoes (flat bottomed shoes are best, think vans, af1, etc.)
– weather appropriate clothing
