Friday Afternoon Run in the Country

OVERVIEW

I got a lot of interest back regarding running in some places outside of Charlottesville. Sorry for the delay in having the trip happen.

We’ll meet at Bonnycastle Circle, and drive out to Ridge Road, which is about 10 miles west of town. It’s a packed-dirt road along farms and woods, with very little traffic. In addition to the feeling of being back in the days of farming, there are some great views of the mountains. This is one of my favorite places to run in/around Charlottesville.

I am planning on doing a 6 mile run at 9 mins/mile. If you feel you can only go 4, sign up anyways. Depending on drivers and attendees, we might be able to break up into ability groups. I’ll let you know the details by noon on Friday.

I plan to leave at 3:15, so don’t be late! – Return time is approximate, +/- 15 mins.
