Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Sugar Hollow
The leaves and the weather are stupid nice so let’s go enjoy them I guess. Sugar Hollow: multiple stream crossings, at least one waterfall, 6-8 miles depending, pretty easy terrain with maybe some uphill towards the end, cool rocks (when is a rock not cool?), clandestine entrance into Shenandoah National Park (i.e. no fees), Josh Brooks (after several months of not using his legs—he’s been paddling to class—he’s decided to give land another shot, so let’s cheer him on/carry him as he attempts to to this thing called hiking. He also said he’s bringing his kayak to run the 20 foot water fall into the 2 foot deep pool, so it should be interesting).
Bring some snacks and around two liters of water unless you’re down to drink stream water. And off-roading shoes—you’re likely to get wet during these stream crossings.
Need a driver.
