FRIDAY BOULDERING @QUARRY PARK

OVERVIEW

I went here a couple weeks ago and it was awesome. There is a little pocket with crystals in it that is super cool. The boulder is located next to a quaint little stream it is quite lovely. If you have even a little bouldering experience this is a good trip for you, there is one route that is very doable (probably translates to V2/3 in slaughter). Last time I went the rock was wet so it was a bit difficult to try the other routes, so I am very excited to try it dry! We will need one driver who can fit 5 people and 2 crash pads in the trunk.

Plan:
We’ll grab the crash pads and leave from the gear room at 2:30 then drive about 10 minutes to the park. From there we’ll walk to the boulder which doesn’t take long and then we will climb! Mt project only has two routes listed which are a V0 and then V3 but we can scramble around and try whatever. We can climb for however long the group wants to but tentatively leave around 5.
