Friday Falls Hiking

OVERVIEW

Are you craving a hike with all this warm weather? I’ve got the bug and this gorgeous trip with waterfalls is the cure (I mean who doesn’t like waterfalls??)

The Deets:
This is one of the most popular waterfall hikes in the southern section of the Shenandoah National Park. There are several falls along Jones Run, plus two large falls on Doyles River. The hike is about 6.5mi round trip and has a good balance between uphill and downhill

1pm – Leave Echols
2pm – Get to the trail head
3:15pm – Snack?
5pm – Finish hike and head back to Cville
6pm – Arrive back at Cville in time for some shenanigans

Bring:
– Water (2L)
– Some snacks
– Rain jacket??
– SNP pass OR $5.
– Good Tunes!

DRIVERS NEEDED!
– If more drivers signup, then I can add more people, but I can only take a total of 4
– Drivers get priority off the waitlist. The club reimburses for gas +50% tip!
– Drivers need to show up to Echols with a full tank of gas!
