Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Humpback Rocks
If you’ve never been to humpback rocks before, you must check it out during the next couple of weeks. The foliage is magnificent this time of year. This is a very rewarding hike in terms of awesome views for the amount of uphill climb.
Humpback rocks is located at mile post 6 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 30 min outside of town. We’ll leave Echols at 9:30, and get back in time for you to make it to your noon Friday classes. If you have class before noon, it’s worth skipping for this hike.
The club provides a ride and reimbursement for gas if you drive. You bring a liter of water and snacks to munch on at the top.
