Friday Night Slopes

OVERVIEW

Hey guys!!!

I’ve been hankering to get out and ski with the recent snowstorm, so have decided to throw this trip up there in case anyone feels the same way! Massanutten Ski Lodge is about an hour away, and offers a five hour night ski pass for college students every Friday (it’s $35 for the five hours, 4-9 pm) with a discounted gear rental being $25 for said four hours totaling to $60 for the night if you need gear as well. This trip is pretty preliminary because a lot can change for people in the next week and a half (as well as the weather can be iffy as well with this being a ‘ski the east’ moment sometimes shaking up to be a glorified slushee on wheels), but I’d definitely love to go pending a decent bit of interest. I myself am a pretty beginner/intermediate skier (have gone a couple times in my life but don’t own my own gear, etc) so please don’t let limited experience be a barrier to demonstrating interest. Even though it starts at 4, we’d have to leave at 3 (I have a class until 2:50 with a prof who is sticky w/ attendance), so please keep that in mind. If anyone else is free to drive (and that car could leave earlier than 3, etc), I would love to open up the registration to more people if possible and if interest is shown (I myself can take 4 in my Subaru besides myself).
