Friday SPRGE Intermediate Climbing

OVERVIEW

hi fellow sprge attendees.

me and max want to climb friday in an attempt to MAXimize (pun intended) the sprge stoke. we have selected a wall neither of us have been to, and which has some p awesome stuff, by the name of “Orange Oswald Wall” (https://www.mountainproject.com/area/105989769/orange-oswald-wall). We plan to climb in the <5'10ish range, and just have a chill time doing some good ole' sport climbing with the GORGEous (pun intended again), Summersville Lake to our backs. This trip is meant for people with lead/sport climbing experience, but we might be able to bring along a limited number of beginners, so feel free to sign up if you have some outdoor climbing exposure and would like to learn more about lead/sport climbing. YOU BRING: Helmet Harness Climbing shoes Belay device (grigri or ATC) Water Lunch and snacks Weather appropriate clothing WE’LL BRING: Ropes Draws Stick clip REMINDERS FOR JOINING SPRGE! Once you are taken off the waitlist for this trip you MUST: 1. Pay the SPRGE fee – Venmo $25 to @parkersims 2. THEN sign up for the MAIN SPRGE CARPOOL If you can no longer attend, please drop this trip AND the main carpool as soon as you know. This makes planning a lot easier.
