Scholars maintain that the ancient sport of frisbee golf was first played by the natives to the Shenendoah Valley during the 5th century B.C.E. Come out early to Walnut Creek before the Creekathon to carry on this beautiful storied culture of frisbee golf. The PDGA approved course circles the lake at Walnut.
We’ll play a round before enjoying the delicious food provided by the club and its members.
If you’ve never played before, don’t worry. Neither have I! You throw a disc (slightly smaller and heavier than a regulation frisbee) towards a basket, taking successive shots until the disc lands in said basket. Rinse and repeat.
