Funky Monkey Friday Sunset Hike (@Humpback)

OVERVIEW

Are you tired of the same old sunrise hike? Well you’re in luck because I smell I killer sunset.

It’s a pretty straight forward trip. The hike is only about a mile, but almost 1000ft of elevation so be prepared. Looking for a driver or two so they’ll have priority. Here’s the plan:

Packing:
Water bottle
Headlamp (it will get dark fast)
Any sunset grub you want

Meet at Echols: 5:30pm
Get to trailhead: 6:15 pm
Hit the summit: 7:00pm
Sun sets at 7:30 so we’ll hang out at the top for a while then night hike down.
Get to car: 8:15pm
Back at Echols: 9:00pm
(We should be back in time for any evening plans if you have them)
