Gauley Fest – INT climbing at Endless Wall

THIS IS COMPLEMENTARY TO THE GAULEY FEST MAIN TRIP YOU WILL NOT GET OFF UNLESS YOU ARE ON THE WAITLIST FOR BOTH

Fellow Gauley festivity partakers!

Welcome to our intermediate climbing trip, we’ll be headed to Endless Wall (https://www.mountainproject.com/area/105943886/endless-wall), the “crown jewel of crags” along the New River. The climbing looks absolutely spectacular and I cannot wait to pull hard on some sandstone. Some of the likely areas we’ll hit are Party Buttress, Diamond Point, Snake Buttress, and the Fantasy Area.

The only prerequisites for tagging along would be knowing how to lead belay and climb; it would also immensely increase your enjoyment if you can confidently climb at least >=5.9. Besides that, all you’ll need is some stoke!

ITINERARY:
7:30 am: leave camp, biscuit world breakfast?
8:00am: drive to crag
8:30am: go climbing
3pm: leave for cville
6:30: back in cville

YOU BRING:
Climbing stuff (helmet, harness, shoes, chalk)
Water
Lunch and snacks
Appropriate clothing to be outside all day! (check the forecast)
