OVERVIEW

MountainTechs.com, BRMS and CEI-Star have been sponsoring a geocaching event in Charlottesville that ends June 25.

The challenge is to solve what is known as a “puzzle cache.” Just figure out the clues, then use a GPS to find a series of “caches” that are located in public places in and around town. Successfully complete the puzzle cache and you will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win some great Gore-Tex® gear.

I have a GPS to use, and have already solved a few of the clues. I’m not exactly sure where all we will end up going, but that is the fun of it!

and print out your own puzzle sheet. When you have completed and submitted the puzzle you will have the opportunity to win the free Gore-tex gear!

Bring your puzzle sheet, water and snacks. Wear good shoes for walking/hiking.
