GET BLITZEDDD (Morven Ridgeline Adventure!)!!!

GET EXCITED FOR A MORVEN COLLAB!!!
We are working with the Morven Sustainability Lab to have the first bioblitz hike on Morven’s ridge!!

A bioblitz is an intensive, time-limited biological survey that brings together scientists, students, and community members to document all identifiable species within a defined area. Using the iNaturalist app, participants contribute geotagged plant, animal, bird and insect species observations. These photos, whose IDs are verified by scientists, will not only document the biodiversity at Morven Sustainability Lab (MSL) but also a larger biodiversity database used globally by researchers and land managers.

The plan:
12:30- meet at corner of echols
1:00- get to Morven and start hiking!
5:30- our hearts satisfied and our eyes full of Morven’s trees and flowers, return to grounds!
