Getting Down and Dirty at Morven

Well hello there…

Do you like getting down and dirty? Yeah I thought so. Sooooo join me and Sofia (arguably the coolest and most awesome Morven employee to ever be employed) on 9/26 for a volunteer day at Morven Kitchen Garden!

MKG is UVA’s largest student farm and they focus on sustainable agriculture, using regenerative farming practices. Super cool. We will help them with all sorts of crop cultivation activities, including weeding, shoveling, harvesting, and all of that good stuff. You may even get to take home some fresh produce!

We will be working outside in the dirt, so dress appropriately (closed-toes shoes and clothes that can get dirty) and bring anything else you may need (water and a snack).

Schedule:
2:30pm – Meet at the corner of Echols Dorm
3pm-5pm – GARDEN!
5:30pm – Return home
