Glass Hollow Overlook Sunrise Hike (Beginner)

OVERVIEW

Humpback sunrises are great. You should see one. But I’m craving something different. This hike leaves from the same parking lot as Humpback but is much less steep and a little different.

I’ve never seen a sunrise here so I thought I’d check it out. Plus I don’t have class till 2pm and need to kill some time. Be ready to walk in the dark for a little less than 2.5 miles round trip.

5:30 meet at echols
5:35 leave echols
6:10 start hiking
7:00 sunrise
8:00 be back in Cville (bodos?)

These times are tentative. If you have class before 9am it’s not guaranteed you’ll get there in time. But you do you.

ALSO, since this is a sunrise hike I plan on being pretty strict with our departure time. Please get to echols before 5:35 AM. I don’t want to leave anyone behind, but I will if it comes to that.

One more thing. I have a car and can bring 4 people (have fun in the middle seat, lol). If we get another car, we can bring perhaps 5 more people. Drivers get priority off waitlist.
