Glass Hollow Sunrise

OVERVIEW

It’s time for my weekly sunrise hike, and we’re going to Glass Hollow (again)! The hike is around 2 miles round trip and leaves from the Humpback Rock Parking area. Unlike Humpback, this is a very chill hike with little elevation gain to cover, so I think it’ll be a great start (middle?) to the craziness of exam season.

The Plan
5:40 AM: Leave from the corner of Echols
6:20 AM: Start hiking!
6:50 AM: Arrive at overlook and chill
7:15 AM: Sunrise!
8:00 AM: Head back from the parking area
8:40 AM: Get back to Grounds

It’s looking like it will be below freezing, so make sure to wear / pack lots of layers! I will bring some hot water, so we can make cocoa, tea, and/or coffee. Bring a warm beverage holder if you want to participate. I need another driver to take 10 people (including me) total, so drivers get priority off the waitlist!
