Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Grayson Highlands National Recreation Area
This trip will have a few activities but will be focused on bouldering. There will also be some fishing, exploring, and of course camping!
We will be leaving on Friday afternoon (TBA – see questions) and driving 4 hours to make camp at Raccoon Creek National Campground: http://www.fs.fed.us/outernet/r8/gwj/mr/recreation/camping/raccoon.shtml
There are no reservations so I have a couple backups in mind if it is full. We will return there Saturday night then do ????? on Sunday. Maybe another bouldering area, maybe something else. All in all it should be a chill fun time.
Club will provide: food, ride/car+tips, campground fees, shared gear, any camping gear you need, bouldering pads.
You provide: $$ for dinner Fri/Sun, clothes (includes layers, it will get chilly at that elevation), raingear, 2+L water, snacks for during the day, climbing shoes, camping gear you have,
