Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Mt. Rogers
If you like putting on frozen solid boots in the morning this trip could be for you! The Mt Roger’s and Grayson Highlands areas offer exquisite beauty with 360 degree views. Hopefully we can share these views with the free roaming ponies (i have no idea if the ponies are left out during the winter).
We will do some night hiking Friday night, and on Saturday determine our route as we go based on the weather conditions. It will be cold and windy. It could snow. We will have snowshoes in case there is a lot of snow. You will need warm clothes and a hearty soul.
There is a $5.00 fee for this trip to provide for extra snacks in case i go over our limit. It will not be collected if i manage to budget well this time 🙂
Club pays for gas and a seat in a car. Also food on Saturday, and Sunday’s breakfast. Bring cash for food on the way there and back.
Equipment is provided if needed, however participants will be required to have appropriate clothing. See the links below for information about clothing and for a packing list.
