Grigris? Cams? ATCs? WTF?!??

OVERVIEW

Interested in getting into climbing but overwhelmed by the insane amount of lingo/knowledge there is out there – this is the trip for you!! I’ve been climbing for about 5 years now and have been lucky enough to have some fantastic friends and fam pass on all this knowledge to me and now it’s time to pass it on to more folks!!

This will be a completely introductory workshop- everyone is welcome! (This would be an especially great trip to join on if you are interested in climbing at NRG and want to get some knowledge under your belt before you get out there on real rock.) I’ll cover everything from the different types of climbing to the gear used to different jargon you might hear out at the crag. I’m also down to do some more hands on practice afterwards if folks are interested : belaying, cleaning anchors etc. So stoked to nerd out about rocks w you all!! 😎

*Little disclaimer- I’m not an expert! So just because you come to this workshop doesn’t mean you’re ready to go out and do everything on your own. Always make sure you go with someone who knows what they are doing from experience. But! That being said! This is a FANTASTIC way to learn a ton of information that will make you way more prepared when the time comes to get outside and climb. Woohoo!! Hope to see you there!!
