Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
Humpback Rocks
Update: I picked an awful time for this adventure, so I am moving it to Wednesday morning instead so we can have a spoopy type morning before the day of Halloween.
Hello hello,
Halloween has arrived, and so has halloweekend. Guess what that means? Candy. Guess what the best type of candy is? Gummies. So in honor of this, I have deviced a trip to celebrate gummies and Halloween. This is a basic Humpback hike, where we shall form a merry band of adventurers and climb up this classic mountain and shake off our Halloweekend shenanigans by hopefully witnessing a beautiful sunrise. However, EVERYBODY that joins this trip must bring some type of gummy snacks. By this I mean that each individual must bring a pack of gummies that they wish to eat at the top of Humpback. And I don’t mean a single pack of Welch’s fruit snacks, I mean something that’s actually good and filling. The definition of gummy is a very versatile and inclusive one, and any type of tasty gummy snacks, from Sour Patch Kids to Lifesavers, are welcome, and the more creative the better. These gummies are also meant to be shared with the rest of the gang, so don’t be greedy.
The simple plan is: meet at 5:33 a.m. by Echols Dorm, go to Humpback, hike that jitt, get to the top, eat the gummies and watch the sunrise, go back down, and drive back to grounds, with maybe a possible stop at Waffle House on the way if people are hungry.
