Half Day Trip to Wintergreen

OVERVIEW

Come celebrate Valentine’s Day on the slopes! Rumor has it Wintergreen will be blowing pink snow, matching up singles in the lift lines, and changing all their slope ratings from diamonds to hearts.

But seriously, if you’re looking to get outside and away from Grounds for a couple of hours the weather is supposed to be nice and it shouldn’t be too crowded. We’ll leave around 1130 am, get on the slopes by 1 pm at the latest, ski/board for 3-4 hours and be home by 6 pm.

If you have a season pass and gear then it’s free, but if you do need to buy a lift ticket it’ll be $37 for a half session, which give you 4 hours plus 30 minutes extra if you need to get rentals. Ski rentals are $26 and board rentals are $31.

Lunch is up to you, but if you plan on eating up there don’t forget to bring money!

So, things to bring:
– Warm clothes, of course
– Gear, if you have it
– Snacks if you think you’ll get hungry
– Money for lift tickets/equipment rentals

I can take 4 in my car so that’s the max attendee # right now but if another driver signs up we can take more (remember you’ll be reimbursed)!
