Gather, my fellow climbers and outdoorsy-peeps! We’re going bouldering, at a normalish time…totally not directed at anyone
So I was just scrolling around Mountain Project trying to figure out how to do a day trip to GHSP without driving 4 hours, when I found a decently sized bouldering locale within a 2 hour drive! Because Grayson Highlands seems to be without an airport to land the ODC private jet and I lack any sort of teleportation super powers, we’ll be travelling to the nearer of the two. For those unfamiliar, as I was, Harkening Hill is a gentle knoll, nestled along the Blue Ridge Parkway in-between-ish Roanoke and Lynchburg. Mountain proj says “This south-west hillside is covered in hundreds of 5-30ft tall gneiss boulders. The views are amazing, and the approach is easy.”, so that’s a win y’all, nothing more to say.

Things of note: we need drivers, especially those with enough room for some crash pads.
Huzzah!
