After a break full of idleness and general lazing about, I’ve been feeling the urge to go do something adventurous. Come with me and Loreley to the Blue Ridge Tunnel, a historic tunnel carved into mountains that was once part of the blue ridge railroad.
This hike is open to all skill levels- the trail is about 3 miles, pretty flat, and is primarily gravel and pavement. We will be in the tunnel for the most part- this means it will be dark, so please bring either a flashlight or a headlamp.
Drivers needed! You’ll get priority off the waitlist and gas will be reimbursed.
Agenda
9:00- meet at echols, hop in the car(s)
9:30- arrive, start walking
11:30ish- back at cars
12:00- back at echols

-proper hiking/walking shoes
