Lower Hawksbill Trailhead, Luray, VA, USA
After being in the desert for a week I really miss our beautiful Virginia mountains. I recently learned that Hawksbill Mountain is the highest peak in Shenandoah so it should provide some pretty awesome views. This is a pretty chill 2.7 mile loop with a surprisingly low amount of elevation gain. On average it takes about an hour and half to complete but we’ll factor in some time to sit at the top and take in the views with some fun snacks.
