Hazel Falls Hike

OVERVIEW

I have never hiked this trail before, but it looked cool and promises a waterfall and alcoves, so it seems like a good trip to lose my trip -leader virginity to , right? The hike is a 5.3 mile out and back and is rated as moderate on All Trails. The last .2 miles is apparently very steep according to nearly all of the reviews, so be prepared for that. I do not have a car, so this trip is dependent on drivers signing up!

The plan:
– 9:00am- meet at echols dorm
– 10:30ish- reach trail-head
– 12:30-1:30- eat lunch on the trail/falls and enjoy nature 😀
– 2:00 pm- return to cars
– 3:30pm- back on grounds

What to bring:
-layers
-sturdy hiking shoes ( shoes that can get wet too )
-lunch/snacks
-water
-$5 or SNP pass

Drivers and anyone with a park pass get priority off the waitlist, and gas is reimbursed + 50% tip.
Drivers: remember to show up with a full tank of gas
