Headwaters Down (VA Film Festival!)

Hello my lovelies!

Virginia Film Festival is this weekend and I’m hoping to go with some folks to see Headwaters Down, which happens to be showing super close at Culbreth Theatre! It’s a documentary about a 2 week long canoeing down the James River. Idk about you but I’m a big fan of canoeing and the James River so it sounded pretty interesting to me. You should be able to go to that link and log in using Netbadge to claim your free student ticket. I would do this sooner rather than later, but I think you may be able to do it up to a few hours before the show. If for some reason “Free UVA Student Ticket” doesn’t come up when you look at the “Buy Tickets” page, try going to the top right and entering the promo code “UVAArts$22-23” and it should come up (at least, that’s how I solved the issue).

Here’s the plan!:
5pm (Sunday Nov 4): Meet at the corner of Echols dorm
5:15: Arrive at Culbreth, get checked in, see if there’s snacks etc
5:30: Movie starts!
6:45: In theory, this is when the movie is supposed to end since it’s only 75 min long but the website lists the event as going later than that? idk
7-7:15: We wander off to our separate corners of the world to hit the sunday hw grind
