Hello all! Are you looking to spread your wings and truly learn to fly like an eagle? Well then look no further cause this is the perfect adventure for you!
We will be fleeing the lowlands of UVA and hiking to Hawksbill Summit located in the extraordinary SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK! This short hike will take us to the central romping grounds of the park where we will hike the short 1 mile to the summit and enjoy some lunch and enjoy some amazing views. Schedule of the trip:
Leave Grounds @ 9am (Meet at the corner of Echols Dorm)
Arrive to Upper Hawksbill Parking lot @10:30
Hike the summit and enjoy some grub by 11:15
Arrive back to the Upper Hawksbill Parking lot @12:30
Return to Grounds @ 2pm
What to bring:
1. Water!!!!!! About a liter should do
2. Raincoat cause VA weather is special
3. Layers (October can be cold)
4. An A+ attitude
5. Packed Lunch to eat at the summit
6. Mask for the Car
*****Drivers has priority off the waitlist as do adventurers with a National Park Passs*****
