Echols Dorm: Brick Wall By Side Door
If you’d like to take a relatively short hike past some berry bushes to a good swimming hole this might be the adventure for you. We will hike along the Moorman’s River trail, stopping to pick whatever wineberries and raspberrries are still left and stop to swim where the trail crosses the river at a nice swimming hole that’s usually not too crowded. If the water’s too low or everyone’s up for it we could also hike up to Blue hole
later for a swim in colder water and with a rope swing!
Please bring snacks, at least 2 liters of water, bug repellant, swimsuit and a bag for berries, if that interests you. The somewhat rocky trail is roughly 4 miles out and back with another 2 miles or so added on if we head up to Blue Hole.
The Club provides a seat in a car and gas money. I will expand the adventure as drivers sign up. See you soon!
