Hike Humpback!

OVERVIEW

Come out on Sunday to enjoy the wonderful weather on a day hike at Humpback Rocks! We will drive about half an hour and park off the historic Blue Ridge Parkway; we will then hike 1-2 miles along the AT in a loop to get to Humpback rocks, scramble around and have a picnic lunch (bring your own) while enjoying a 360 degree view of the Shenandoah valley and greater Charlottesville area. We can stay and relax as long as the group would like – it is a truly beautiful spot. The hike down will be about 15 minutes (shorter than the hike up), and we will return Sunday afternoon. I will set the trip to waitlist only, and add hikers as drivers sign up. Happy Trails!
Club provides: gas, seat in a car, sweet hike
You provide: lunch, water (I’d say two liters), hiking boots/tennis shoes, an extra top layer, camera if you so desire, smile
