OVERVIEW

Spend your “reading day” at Sugar Hollow!

After a 25-minute drive to Sugar Hollow, we’ll hike an easy mile to reach a swimming hole. If the rope swing is up, Tarzan wannabees can swing like monkeys into the deep blue abyss.

Some of us will hike back and drive straight to the Walnut Creek cookout at 5 pm (make sure you sign up for the cookout separately). I will try to make sure that there is at least one car that will return to UVA to drop off people who can’t go to the barbeque.

Outdoors at UVa provides:a ride, gas

You bring:
-water
-sunscreen
-camera
-bathing suit
-sneakers/hiking boots
-food, frisbees, change of clothes for the cookout
