Horse Pens 40, Triple Crown Bouldering Comp

OVERVIEW

The moment has finally arrived… The third and final leg of the bouldering triple crown. The comp organizers are slow in posting details, but I need to start a head count…. Plan is leave Friday afternoon, comp saturday (weather permitting), drive back sunday. Bring homework just in case the comp gets pushed back to sunday because we’ll be getting back nice and crazy late if that’s the case.

so.. hopefully with all the past emails you have already signed up at www.triplecrownbouldering.org , if not… do so.

you provide:
climbing shoes,
warm clothes
chalk bag/chalk,
snacks,
entrance fee/ticket,
Cash (this is important, as we will be in the middle of no where….), we will also likely buy dinner at the comp on saturday night.

club will provide
up to 150$ gas money if you drive (this is a long drive… any additional funds will need to be split amoung the riders).
breakfast and lunch saturday, possible snack saturday night, and breakfast sunday.

tents and other camping gear as necessary (this week is pretty crazy for me, so if possible let me know ASAP, and or check out this equipment during a gear room hour.

I’d like to provide more specifics, but they haven’t been posted yet. I am planning on leaving with steve around 330~4 pm. This is a 10 hour drive so I imagine other drivers may prefer to leave sooner. Everyone will be waitlisted till other drivers sign up. With all the the crashpads that typically need to fit, we will need everyone to coordinate packing.
