Humpback Sunrise: Early and Cold…But Worth it

OVERVIEW

Hi, friends! I just purchased a new pair of hiking boots and although wearing them around grounds is nice, I would really like to test them out on an actual hike!

With that being said, HOOS DOWN TO HIKE HUMPBACK ON FRIDAY MORNING!?!?

here’s the plan:
-meet at Echols at 5:15am
-get to Humpback at 5:45-6:00am
-get to the top by 6:30am
-watch the sunrise at 6:51am
-chill for a few mins then hike down
-leave the parking lot at 7:30am (maybe later if we wanna chill)
-get back to Echols around 8:00-8:30am (I have a 10am so I guarantee we will be back in time for any 10ams)

This is my first time being a trip leader!! so come at your own risk 🙂

DRIVERS NEEDED. DRIVERS GET PRIORITY. I plan on reimbursing for gas.

what to bring:
-water
-sturdy shoes
-snacks
-flashlight and/or headlamp
-layers cause it’s gon be cold
-knowledge of the weather forecast
