Humpback Sunset Hike!

HELLO OUTDOORS CLUB!

If you’re looking to get away from Grounds this Sunday, join me and Bhargav for a chill out-and-back hike at Humpback. We’re planning on reaching the top just before sunset, hang out a bit, and then make our way back down. The trail in total is about 1.8 miles, so it is super beginner friendly!

Schedule:
4:50 PM – Meet at Echols Dorm
5:00 PM – Leave for Humpback
5:30 PM – Arrive at Humpback and start hiking!
6:15 PM – Get to the top and enjoy the beautiful sunset
6:45 PM – Start making our way back down
7:30 PM – Head back to UVA
8:00 PM- Get back at Echols Dorm

What to bring:
– Water!
– Sturdy shoes
– A snack if you want
– Flashlight/headlamp
– Blanket? for watching sunset
