Humpday Humpback Sunrise Hike

OVERVIEW

It’s been a while since I’ve hiked Humpback Rock, so I’m leading a trip there! This is an easy hike (about 1 mile) that ends with a great view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
***Priority will be given to drivers***

Itinerary:
5:30 am – arrive at Echols
5:45 am – leave for the trailhead
6:15ish – arrive at the trailhead
7:15 – watch the sunrise
8:00 – back at the car
8:30 – arrive back at Echols

What to bring:
– water
– headlamp or flashlight
– layers (it will be cold and windy at the top)
– snacks

I will bring:
– headlamp (possibly extras if they work)
