I Think I’m Goin’ For A Swim (Creekathon Swimming!)

OVERVIEW

Hello fellow nature lovers! I’ve been itching to go for a nice little swim given the warm weather recently, and I felt like Creekathon was the perfect time to do so! The forecast isn’t looking particularly hot for next Sunday, but I’d still like to take a dip in a lake. Granted, it may not be the *longest* of dips, but if the weather shapes up, who knows!

If you’re also lookin’ to go for a swim, this is the trip for you. Just make sure you sign up for the Creekathon main trip!

Plans are very flexible, but I can guarantee that this will be a chill experience.
Here’s a rough timeline:
10:15ish – arrive at Walnut Creek Park with the carpool
10:37 sharp – meet at the pavilion to group up!
10:40 – migrate to beach
10:45 – #swim!!!
11:15 (or earlier, whenever we feel like going in) – hop out and enjoy the rest of Creekathon!

Please note that I am *not* a lifeguard though, so please sign up for this trip only if you are a competent swimmer.

To bring:
A bathing suit (wear it to Creekathon)
Shoes to wear in the water if you want
A towel
Whatever swimming accessories you may desire (pool noodles, inner tubes, goggles?)
