Indiana Jones run Falls and the Raiders of the lost skyline drive

OVERVIEW

if it wasn’t obvious from the thumbnail i am a big fan of indiana jones. As it turns out there is a waterfall in shenandoah called jones run falls and I have an america the beautiful pass practically begging to be used. Unfortunately Harrison Ford is a little too busy to join but that will not stop us from going this Saturday. According to AllTrails this hike is 3.2 miles long with approximately 750 feet of elevation gain (which will all be on the way back) so nothing too crazy.
Here’s the plan:
11:00 Meet Corner of Echols
12:00 Arrive Jones Run Falls trailhead
12:45 Arrive Jones Run Falls
1:15 start heading back
2:15 back at trailhead
3:15 back at echols

Unfortunately I do not have a car so drivers are needed! If you have a car you will get priority and will also be eligible for gas reimbursement if you arrive at Echols with a full tank of gas. I will add more people to this trip if we get multiple drivers.

I have an America the Beautiful national parks pass that will cover one car with up to five people, so if you have a parks pass you will ALSO get priority off the waitlist.

You Bring:
– Hiking shoes/boots with good traction
– Water
– Snacks/lunch if you want
– Parks pass if you have one
I Bring:
– First aid kit
– Parks pass
– Indiana jones stoke

NOTE: the alltrails hike goes beyond the falls for some reason. unless we decide otherwise we will only do the 3.2 miles to the falls and back
