We have water!! Take a break from exams and come kayaking tomorrow. The Maury is a sweet Class III-IV run near Lexington, VA. It’s in a beautiful area of Virgina, and the whitewater is lots of fun!
To come on this trip you need to have a solid roll and solid boat control in class III water. You must have paddled the Lower James or equivalent at least once without incident. If you have questions about your ability to do this run, email me!
The water will be COLD, so be prepared. The club has cold water gear if you need it, but you need to bring non-cotton layers to wear underneath the dry top and for after the river.
You provide: kayaking and cold water gear you have, warm clothes and towel for after, water, lunch, snack food
Club provides: gas $, any gear you need
