Intermediate-Advanced Whitewater Kayaking

OVERVIEW

I figure it’s my turn to organize the weekly adventure to West Virginia, so let’s get together and go find some whitewater on the Lower NRG.

TIME
I plan on leaving Friday night and staying at Ray’s Campground, then hitting the Lower NRG both days unless other opportunities present themselves. All times will be contingent on when everyone can get out of cville and what scheduling restraints people have.

FOOD:
If we have a consolidated enough group then I will get food for the weekend to cover a few meals, but I full expect to get some Pies & Pints one night

LEGAL:
I am NOT “leading” on any of these rivers, I am only coordinating some logistics and transportation to the rivers, you are responsible for your own safety and the activities you choose to participate in while on this trip, and you agree to have read and will abide by the American Whitewater Safety Code http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Wiki/safety:start?
Those with the appropriate skills may join as “Common Adventurers”

PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. You must have river experience on several different rivers to go on this trip. Since I will have to screen your qualifications your name will get added to the waitlist upon signing up, and then moved to the trip list if appropriate.

Club Provides: Boats & Gear if you need them – Signup/Tell me early if you have any gear needs!

You Provide: Any paddling and camping gear you already have, rain dances.
