Been going to Rocky Top or Peak, but haven’t gotten outside yet? Here’s your chance…
We’ll go to the Lake which has some of the East’s best sport climbing and lots of easy/moderate routes (also great swimming to cool off).
You should be able to climb 5.8, belay, and tie-in. It should also be possible to try lead climbing if you’d like.
We’ll leave saturday night and camp. Then, climb all day sunday and drive back late @ night. We will probably get back quite late (~1am) so please do not sign up if this isn’t OK.
Club provides all the gear you need plus a ride.
You bring: lunch for sunday and some money for breakfast and dinner.
