Corner of Echols
Corner of Echols
Devil's Marbleyard Parking, Petites Gap Road, Natural Bridge Station, VA, USA
Do you like rocks? Devil’s Marbleyard is a lesser known gem, just an hour drive away from Cville. Millions of years in the making, the side of this mountain includes an eight acre field of boulders that I intend to summit. Alongside the sloped rock slide winds a trail that will make the walk down quite a bit easier than the way up. This hike will total less than 4 miles, but given the uphill and significant rock scrambling available, I’m listing the hike as Intermediate.
