If no: let’s get on the road! If yes: join me anyway as I chat up the locals for bouldering beta. (They say the yet-to-be-published guide book has over 1200 problems)
PLAN
Friday: Departure 3 p.m., 3+ hrs driving, make friends in Fayetteville, fit in boulders, camp at: American Alpine Club or Ray’s
Saturday: Top Rope + explore: *location TBD (Junkyard, Fern Buttress, or Endless), dinner in Fayetteville (Pies & Pints? Gumbo?)
Optional Sunday: morning boulders, flexible departure, arrive in Cville by 6
Weather: high’s in upper 80’s, lows in upper 50’s
*NB: This trip is dependent on the experience and knowledge base of its attendees for where/what/how much we boulder/climb/hike.*Not suitable for first-timers, please be comfortable at 5.7/V1 and higher.
What you bring:
climbing gear: (shoes, harness, helmet, belaying hardware)
food for entire weekend/money for food (5+ meals)
$$ for camping: $7-$9/person/night
2+ liters H2O
camping gear (sleeping bag/pad, rain jacket, utensils, headlamp, etc)
good vibes and your stoked self!
What will be available to you:
Ropes, Crash pads, stove, water purification, tent(s), companionship ’round the campfire
oatmeal saturday morning
