It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man says go kayaking!
There’s been a ton of rain today, and its supposed to keep coming down, so we should have plenty of water tomorrow. Not sure what the destination is yet, it depends on what the river gods decide to do with the water levels and who signs up. Options include: Lower James, Balcony Falls (if really high water), Maury River, Bullpasture, Moormans, Tye, etc.
We will leave sometime around noon, and will be back sometime after dark. More specifics to come tomorrow.
You need to have a solid roll and good boat control to come on this trip.
Because this trip is a little short notice, and I have class all morning tomorrow, the club can’t really provide gear unless you get in touch with me/Dave Clark asap.
You provide: kayaking gear, non-cotton layers, towel/dry clothes for after, water/food.
Club provides: gas $
