Intermediate Kayaking: Somewhere Fun

OVERVIEW

Let’s go kayaking Thursday! There’s been a ton of rain recently, so we’ll catch the tail end of all the high water. Not sure what the destination is yet, it depends on what the river gods decide to do with the water levels and who signs up. Options include: Lower James, Balcony Falls (if realy high water), Maury River, Bullpasture, Moormans, etc. Edit: i’m leaning towards the bullpasture if the levels stay good.

We will leave cville at 10:30 (meet at bonnycastle circle) and will be back by 6pm at the latest, most likely closer to 4ish.

You need to have a solid roll and good boat control to come on this trip.

You provide: kayaking gear if you have it, non-cotton layers, towel/dry clothes for after, water/food.

Club provides: kayaking gear if you need it, gas $
