OVERVIEW

Stonycreek Rendezvous:

The annual Stonycreek Rendezvous is held each year at Greenhouse Park south of Johnstown, PA. This is a great little festival with whitewater releases from Quemahoning Reservoir, camping, music, races, a whitewater rodeo and more. COSTS: Festival Entrance for the entire weekend $10.00 Per person.

You can research more on the Rendezvous here: http://benscreekcanoeclub.com/

(This is Intermediate^2 skill level). You can research the river here:

Rafting: http://wilderness-voyageurs.com/whitewater.html

Class II-III run, A whitewater play ground! I recommend play boats to the more advanced paddlers, yet a great run for intermediate boaters as well.

* You must have a flat water roll to attend this trip* (preferably a combat roll.) Must have paddled something equivalent to the Lower James, Lower Yough, Maury etc. If you have not: You are encouraged to do so before this trip.

Everyone gets wait-listed until I screen your skills.
I will open up the trip to more people as drivers sign up.

Drylanders: For those outdoor enthusiasts who are hesitant to “take the plunge” into boating or kayaking, you can do your own recon of the rocks, trails, bikes, hikes, etc, within this region, and let me know if you want to lead some sort of dryland trip while up here so we can make this a bit of a multisport adventure.
