To Be Determined
James River - Richmond
This is typically a great time of year for intermediate WW kayakers to paddle the lower James River through Richmond. Its a little early to tell, but I’m gonna guess the river will be close to 5 feet for our run; a great level for intermediate paddlers. Normally I would let those join that have class 2 experience with a weak roll, but the cold water adds a serious danger factor so please do NOT sign up unless you have lots of river kayaking experience, plenty of class 3 rapid experience, a solid flat water roll, and love cold water.
I will already be in Richmond doing the section above this one (class 1-2), so will either coordinate to meet you at the put-in for the lower run, or will see you on that trip (please sign up for both if you plan to run both sections). The start time for this adventure is the time I anticipate to be at the Reedy Creek put-in.
